Best AI Sales Agents in 2026: 8 Ranked by Score, With Real Costs

The best AI sales agents of 2026, ranked by score: Bland AI, Fireflies, Clay, Apollo, Relevance AI, Agentforce, Artisan and 11x, with real pricing.

Our verdict

7.1/10

No AI sales agent scores above 7.1 yet. Data-and-workflow tools (Clay, Apollo) and task-specific agents (Bland for calls, Fireflies for call notes) beat the 'AI SDR that replaces your team' products, which still trail on reply quality and value.

AgentScoreFromFree tierBest for
Bland AI7.1/10$0.14/minDeveloper and enterprise teams building high-volume outbound or inbound phone-call automation in sales, support, or healthcare

Relevance AI6.6/10$19/moOps and revenue teams that want to assemble multi-agent workflows across their existing SaaS stack without hiring engineers
Agentforce6.5/10$500 per 100k Flex CreditsExisting Salesforce enterprises that want AI agents acting on live CRM data under their current security and governance model.
Artisan5.7/10$250/moMid-market B2B companies with broad, horizontal ICPs running high-volume outbound campaigns
11x4.8/10~$3,750/moEnterprise sales teams looking to scale outbound prospecting volume without adding headcount, and who can absorb $50K+ annual contracts

The short answer: most sales teams should start with Apollo.io (6.7/10, free plan) for prospecting and sequencing, or Clay (6.7, free plan) if they have an ops person who can build enrichment workflows. If your outbound runs on the phone, Bland AI is the highest-scored agent in the category at 7.1. The fully autonomous "AI SDRs", Artisan (5.7) and 11x (4.8), finish last on our rubric: the pitch is bigger than the results buyers report.

"AI sales agent" covers a voice agent that dials leads, a notetaker that updates your CRM, an enrichment engine, and an autonomous SDR that claims to do the whole job. We scored all eight sales-tagged agents in the directory on the same five criteria (see our methodology).

The ranking

  1. Bland AI — 7.1. Best for outbound and inbound sales calls.
  2. Fireflies.ai — 6.8. Best for meeting notes and conversation intelligence.
  3. Clay — 6.7. Most powerful enrichment and research workflow.
  4. Apollo.io — 6.7. Best all-in-one prospecting platform for small teams.
  5. Relevance AI — 6.6. Best for building custom multi-agent sales workflows.
  6. Agentforce — 6.5. Best if your pipeline already lives in Salesforce.
  7. Artisan — 5.7. Cheapest way to trial a fully autonomous AI BDR.
  8. 11x — 4.8. Enterprise AI SDR, priced out of reach for most teams.

Clay and Apollo tie at 6.7: Clay wins on reliability and support, Apollo on ease of use and value.

1. Bland AI — best for sales calls

Bland AI runs its whole voice stack on its own GPUs, which gets response latency to around 800ms, fast enough for a qualification call to feel natural. Its Pathways editor lets non-developers build branching call scripts, and caller memory lets a follow-up call pick up where the last one ended. SOC 2 Type II, HIPAA and GDPR certifications make it usable in regulated industries.

Watch out for: it only does voice and SMS, so no email sequences or LinkedIn. The $0.14/min headline understates the bill: transfer time ($0.04–$0.05/min), failed-call attempts and SMS are billed on top. Our voice agents ranking breaks down the real per-minute cost.

Skip it if: your motion is email-first or you sell to buyers who never pick up the phone.

2. Fireflies.ai — best for call notes and coaching

Fireflies.ai isn't a prospecting tool. It joins your sales calls, transcribes in 100+ languages, writes summaries and action items, and on Business plans pushes them into Salesforce or HubSpot. AskFred lets a manager ask what a prospect said about pricing three calls ago, and Live Assist shows coaching prompts during the call.

Watch out for: CRM sync, conversation analytics and video recording all sit on Business ($29/month, or $19 annual), not Pro. The free plan's 800-minute storage cap makes it a trial in practice. Recording consent is your responsibility in all-party-consent jurisdictions.

Skip it if: you need pipeline generation. Fireflies only works on calls that already happen.

3. Clay — most powerful enrichment

Clay pulls from 150+ data providers in a waterfall (if one source has no email, it tries the next), then runs its Claygent agent over each row to research the company and write a personalized first line. Every plan, including the free one, has unlimited seats, and the March 2026 repricing cut marketplace data costs by 50–90%.

Watch out for: it has the lowest ease-of-use score among the top six (5/10). Users commonly need four to six weeks before they're productive. CRM auto-sync requires Growth at $446/month, and credit burn at volume can push the real cost well past the subscription.

Skip it if: nobody on the team will own the workflows. Clay rewards a dedicated GTM engineer and punishes casual use.

4. Apollo.io — best all-in-one for small teams

Apollo.io combines a database of 275M+ contacts and 73M+ companies with email and LinkedIn sequencing, a dialer and native Salesforce/HubSpot sync, so a small team can run outbound with one subscription. Its AI Assistant (generally available since March 2026) prospects, enriches and drafts sequences from natural-language requests, though it still works draft-and-approve rather than autonomously.

Watch out for: data quality. Email accuracy is around 75–85%, phone numbers are weaker, and coverage outside the US drops noticeably. Mobile numbers cost far more credits than emails, and overages are billed per credit, so heavy users often pay two to three times the plan price. Support on lower tiers is a common complaint (reliability 6, support 5).

Skip it if: you prospect mostly outside the US, or you depend on phone numbers being accurate.

5. Relevance AI — build your own

Relevance AI is an agent builder rather than a finished sales product. Its Workforce canvas lets several agents hand work to each other, it connects to 2,000+ apps and runs on OpenAI, Anthropic or Google models, and it ships Bosh, a prebuilt BDR agent for research, outreach and CRM updates.

Watch out for: billing runs on two meters (Actions plus Vendor Credits) and overages cost $80 per 1,000 Actions, the most common complaint. "No-code" stops being true once you need custom APIs or branching logic.

Skip it if: you want something that works out of the box. Choose Apollo or Artisan instead.

6. Agentforce — best inside Salesforce

Agentforce runs sales agents directly on your Salesforce records, so they qualify inbound leads, enrich them and book meetings under your existing permissions, with no separate data pipeline. Salesforce has kept shipping: it launched seven role-specific Agentforce agents and a long-horizon runtime in September.

Watch out for: without Salesforce it's of little use. Pricing is hard to model, with Flex Credits (about $0.10 per action), $2 per conversation and per-user add-ons from around $125/user/month all coexisting. There's no free tier, and real deployments need admin or consultant time.

Skip it if: you're on HubSpot or any other CRM.

7. Artisan — cheapest autonomous AI BDR

Artisan's Ava sources leads from 300M+ B2B contacts, runs sequences across email, LinkedIn and phone, handles replies and books meetings, all managed in plain language. Ava 2.0 (May 2026) cut entry pricing from about $2,500/month to $250/month (annual) and added a free plan (300 credits/month) and a 10,000-credit trial.

Watch out for: results. Users often describe Ava's emails as obviously AI-written, report near-zero replies from 1,000+ sends, and find targeting weak for narrow verticals, which is why reliability and value score 5/10.

Skip it if: you sell to a niche ICP where every email has to be researched. Use the free trial to measure reply rate before you commit to the annual plan.

8. 11x — enterprise AI SDR

11x deploys Alice for email and LinkedIn outbound and Julian for phone qualification. Alice 2.0 was rebuilt on a multi-agent architecture, and reviewers see real improvement.

Watch out for: value scores 3/10. Entry is about $3,750/month on an annual contract, and median first-year cost is around $50–60K. Users report generic personalization and churn after year one, and a 2025 TechCrunch investigation into inflated revenue and customer claims (which 11x disputes) still hangs over the brand.

Skip it if: you can't absorb a $50K+ contract on a tool whose reply rates are contested. Test Artisan's trial first.

Which should you choose?

  • If you're a founder or small team starting outbound, choose Apollo.io: one tool for data, sequences and dialing, with a usable free plan.
  • If you have a RevOps or GTM engineer, choose Clay for enrichment and pair it with your existing sequencer.
  • If your reps live on the phone, choose Bland AI for qualification and appointment calls.
  • If your problem is admin after calls, not pipeline, choose Fireflies.ai on the Business plan.
  • If you're a Salesforce enterprise, start with Agentforce.
  • If you want custom agents across your stack, choose Relevance AI.
  • If you want to test an autonomous SDR, run Artisan's free trial and measure replies. Only consider 11x at enterprise budget.

One warning applies across the category: Apollo, Clay, Artisan and Relevance AI all meter usage in credits, so budget for usage above the plan price.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AI sales agent in 2026? Bland AI scores highest (7.1), but it only handles calls. For most email-led B2B teams, Apollo.io or Clay (both 6.7) is the better first purchase.

Can an AI SDR replace a human SDR? Not reliably yet. Both dedicated AI SDRs we score, Artisan and 11x, get consistent user complaints about generic emails and low reply rates. AI does well on research, enrichment, first drafts and call admin. Humans still win on judgment, niche targeting and live objection handling.

How much do AI sales agents cost? Apollo, Clay, Fireflies, Relevance AI and Artisan all have free plans. Paid entry runs from $18/month (Fireflies Pro) and $49/user/month (Apollo Basic, annual) to $167/month (Clay Launch) and $250/month (Artisan, annual). Bland AI bills from $0.14 per minute. 11x starts around $3,750/month on an annual contract.

Which AI sales agent works best with Salesforce? Agentforce runs natively on Salesforce data and permissions. Apollo, Clay (Growth plan and up), Fireflies (Business and up), Artisan and 11x all sync with both Salesforce and HubSpot. Salesforce has also launched Claudeforce with Anthropic for sales teams that work in Claude.
